Best Turnout Buddies

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

Sagittarius horses are the ultimate fun turnout buddies. They’re always up for a good romp and can turn a simple pasture into an exciting adventure park. They’re friendly, optimistic, and always looking for the next big thing to explore. Plus, they get along with everyone and keep the mood light and playful. Leaving halters on? Your Sagittarius horse is probably going to take it off and hide it from you. Fun Times! 

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

The Diplomat 

Libra horses are social butterflies and peacemakers. They thrive in a group setting and make sure everyone is getting along. They’re charming, fair, and will share the best grazing spots with you. Need a friend to balance out the herd dynamics? Libra’s your go-to! Plus, they don't hog the hay pile. 

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)  

The Socialite

Gemini horses are chatty and playful. They keep things interesting with their endless curiosity and are always up for a game. They get along with most other signs and love to keep the conversation (or neigh-sation) going. With Gemini, there’s never a dull moment in the pasture. They prefer to be in groups so their dual personalities can shine. Individual turnout? Well that’s just torture for Geminis. Who will they talk to?

Taurus (April 20 - May 20) 

The Gourmet

Taurus horses are steady and reliable, but they’re more interested in grazing than playing. They’ll keep to themselves, munching away at the best patches of grass. They’re not bad company, just a bit too food-focused to be super engaging. They’ll occasionally nudge you away from their favorite clover patch, but they won’t be the ones racing around the gate at turn in time. 

Virgo (August 23 - September 22) 

The Organizer

Virgo horses are meticulous and prefer order. They’ll spend time making sure the pasture is just right, which can be a bit dull for those looking for spontaneous fun. They’re good buddies if you need a calm and structured environment, but don’t expect wild games or impromptu races. They’re too busy making sure the hay pile has been completely cleaned up, and the grass is all the same length. 

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)  

The Dreamer 

Pisces horses are gentle and kind but can be a bit spaced out. They’re often lost in their own world, daydreaming in the pasture. They’re pleasant and non-confrontational, but you might have to nudge them a bit to get them to engage in play. They’re more into peaceful coexistence than active companionship. Pisces horses are the most likely to need a road sign ‘HORSE IS JUST SLEEPING. NOT DEAD’... as when they space out, they spread out. Passers by will definitely wonder if they’re OK. 

Worst Turnout Buddies

Aries (March 21 - April 19) 

The Bossy Boots

Aries horses are full of energy and like to be in charge. They can be a bit too aggressive for some, always ready to start a spook-fest, or play dominance games. If you’re not up for their high-octane style, you might find them a bit too much. They mean well but can come off as too intense. Got an Aries in your paddock? You might need to spread out the hay pile. Other horses are surely going to ‘get the boot’ if you put the hay too close together. 

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) 

The Intense One

Scorpio horses are passionate and sometimes a little too intense. They can be moody and might hold grudges if things don’t go their way. They have a strong personality and prefer deep, one-on-one connections rather than group settings. Not the best for easygoing turnout sessions. Plus, they're the ones staring intensely into the skyline... the other horses will definitely be weirded out. Like, what are they even staring at???

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19) 

The Workaholic

Capricorn horses are disciplined and serious. They might view turnout time as a chance to work on their endurance rather than relax and play. They’re focused and determined, which can be a bit off-putting if you’re looking to unwind and have fun. They’ll probably be in the corner, practicing their piaffe instead of socializing.

PADDOCK LOVE FOREVER

Sagittarius & Gemini

These two are a match made in turnout heaven. Sagittarius brings the adventure, and Gemini brings the chatter. Together, they turn the pasture into a non-stop party. Expect lots of play  and exploring every corner of the field together. They're here, they're there, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! Maybe Sagittarius is politely trying to get away from Gemini's chatterbox attitude, we'll never know. 

Pisces & Libra

Libra's easygoing nature perfectly complements Pisces' gentle and dreamy demeanor. They enjoy each other's company without any drama, sharing quiet grazing moments and the occasional dreamy daydream. It’s all about balance and tranquility with these two. You'll find them facing the sunset together. 

Leo & Aries

Leo and Aries are both strong-willed and full of energy. They thrive on each other's enthusiasm and can turn the pasture into a showground. Leo loves to be admired, and Aries loves to take charge, making them a dynamic duo that keeps things lively and entertaining. It's a competitive kind of love, but it works for these two.
